I hope I am not forgetting anyone. I know Randy cannot make it but that Bill R. and Jon N. can make it.

This Saturday is our day to install the new door between the two offices and create the new design for the office and storage space. I hope we will have enough of us to do both things. I have feedback from a variety of people including Joni, Bill R, Rick, Rita, Marsha and others regarding the office space. I want to get it into a design we can then present to everyone after the door is done (evidence that we can get things done) and prior to the workday on March 20. Since there is a Board meeting Tuesday, this is the time we can get our design approved to go forward if there are items we need approved.

Basically here are the tasks for Saturday:
1) Install New Door
A) Get framed door to install as well as 1 2x6x8 and 4 2x4x96" from store [Bill R volunteered to get the door]
B) Remove Appropriate amount of existing wall and electrical wiring after protecting office from dust (May need to cut power to the building for a little while)
C) Reinstall electrical outlets
D) Add new studs and header
E) level and install door correctly opening into the ministerial office
F) clean up area
G) assess need for trim and paint if time permits
H) get trim and add if time permits
I) Prime trim if time permits
J) install doorknob if time permits

2) Design Office Space Plan
A) assess the capacity and uses of the office spaces (main office, ministerial office, extra office, storage rooms upstairs and downstairs)
B) assess the inventory of furniture
C) assess current pain points relative to 2.A and 2.B
D) assess possible improved uses of 2.A
E) Suggest concrete actions / changes using 2.A and 2.B to address 2.C and arrive at 2.D
F) Draw and explain 2.E so that others can understand and get onboard with the suggestions as a good thing (something to hand out to the board)

I suggest we break up the two crews as follows, depending on your interests and availability of course (and we can share information while working too as well as cross over to help each other when necessary):

Task 1 Crew: Jon, Dominic, Bill L.
Task 2 Crew: Edi, Betsy, Bill R.
